How is climate change impacting your community?
Weather patterns have become very unpredictable and rain shadows are creating bizarre conditions. Our communities must prepare from all fronts against this weather. The major issue is that we keep preparing and modifying our practices, but the weather is getting worse and worse. For example, flooding is requiring bigger gutters and bigger tanks but it’s difficult to prepare when the flooding becomes more severe year after year.

What are you passionate about changing?
I want to change the perception and lack of knowledge on climate change. I’ve recently changed careers and moved into education because I want to create a better future by teaching children about the environment.
